Group starts Tues. Feb. 21st 2023!

A monthly support group for parents of children with ARFID

We want you to be part of a community of people that really understand what it’s like to live with ARFID, and to build some new tools and strategies to support your child and family’s mealtimes.

Have you ever felt ...

  • Lonely because no one really understands what it means to have a child with ARFID?

  • Frustrated because it’s more than your child that’s impacted by ARFID, it’s the whole family?

  • Confused about what strategies will actually help to shift mealtimes for your family?

  • Completely stuck when a strategy doesn’t work, or tired of trying new things all the time?

If so, you're in the right place!

We're building a community of support where you will feel heard and valued.

The ARFID Parent Support group includes

  • Validation

Having support from a community of other parents who really get that ARFID is more than “just picky eating”! No more explaining or justifying yourself!

  • Peer support

Support to help you reflect on where you’re stuck with your child’s eating, and a group of fellow parents and professionals to help generate ideas on how to change this.

  • Professional support

Access to the expertise of an Occupational Therapist (Shannon) and Registered Dietitian (Rosanne Robinson) to help guide and support the group.

  • Monthly meetings

5 monthly zoom meetings (February to June 2023) with ample time to implement strategies that we discuss during the group sessions.

  • Resources

Access to downloads and other supportive resources and strategies to help you move the needle forward on your child’s eating.

  • Collaborative Care

A collaborative environment where everyone’s experience and wisdom is welcome and celebrated!

Registered Dietitian Rosanne Robinson

In cultivating a safe space for curiosity and compassion, Rosanne helps parents let go of shame and guilt around their current feeding struggles with their child and help them re-establish trust in the feeding relationship. Her goal is to empower parents with the knowledge and tools they need to raise healthy kids that have a good relationship with food and their bodies. She wholeheartedly believes that HOW we feed kids matters as much as, if not more, than WHAT we feed them. She uses a wide range of evidence-based approaches to support families struggling with picky eating, feeding disorders, growth concerns, and neurodiversities. Rosanne is the founder and co-owner of Blueprint Nutrition, a practice that specializes in pediatric nutrition, sport nutrition and eating disorders.
