Ben Chiarot, NHL Defenseman Detroit Red Wings

My goals when I connected with Cara at Blueprint Nutrition included increasing muscle mass and decreasing body fat to improve my performance on the ice. I was able to achieve these goals and learn how to sustain them through Cara's great attention to detail and ability to teach me the process that nutrition plays while I’m training. I will be able to use the information that I learned from her for the rest of my hockey career and life!”

What our clients have to say!

The Key to His Improvement!

Val, Ontario, Canada

My son is a competitive hockey player. We began working with Blueprint Nutrition in order to maximize his performance both on and off the ice. The incredibly detailed and individualized counselling we received regarding both nutrient needs and the timing of when specific nutrients would most benefit him were most certainly the keys to his improvements. He was able to reduce his body fat percentage, while still achieving significant gains in his muscle mass. This has helped him achieve his goals to improve his speed and strength. There is no doubt in my mind that he would not have achieved these successes without Blueprint’s guidance and we are incredibly grateful for their kind support, encouragement and guidance throughout this journey.

Getting to the Next Level!

Casey, Ontario, Canada

Our son, a rep hockey player, age 13, needed to understand how nutrition affected his game play. Cara was so helpful in breaking down the importance of all things nutrition and providing excellent tips, tricks, and recipes to help him perform at his best in practice, games, and tournaments. At 13 he is a picky eater and Cara was patient, listened and helped him find foods that he enjoyed that would elevate his game play. Often, he will ask when he gets to talk to Cara again if he feels he needs some help getting to the next level. We would highly recommend Cara if you are looking for ways that nutrition can help your athlete develop.

Unlock the power of nutrition!

Tracy, Ontario, Canada

Cara worked with me and my family to teach us how to better fuel our bodies for competitive sports (specifically my two sons who are rep hockey players, 13 and 15). Cara walked us through the importance of nutrition, the different components, hydration, pre workouts, during games, post workouts, tournament eating, sports drinks and so much more. I would highly recommend Cara if you are looking to unlock the power of nutrition and hydration and how it can improve your sports performance/energy/recovery!

FAQ

  • What age players is this for?

This course will be most beneficial if you have kids who are 10 years and older. We really don't need to get into much beyond the nutrition basics before this age/stage. The course is intended for parents or caregivers to listen to but older teens (16-17 years old) could listen to the content themselves as well.

  • I'm a busy person. Can I listen to the course content on a mobile app?

Yes. You can download the app called "Thinkific" from the app store. Then, search up our academy (Blueprint Nutrition Academy) and login to access the course. There are still some bugs with the app and so we would recommend to access via a web browser on a computer or tablet for an improved user-experience.

  • Are you going to talk about Biosteel, Prime, Gatorade, Powerade etc.?

Yes. Yes. And yes! We are going to review ALL of the supplements and hydration beverages that are marketed to athletes and hockey players and breakdown what they may need and when.

  • Can I take this course for my child who plays a different sport? (e.g. soccer)

Yes! This course talks about how to fuel a youth athlete and the principles do extend beyond hockey, particularly to other endurance sports like running, soccer, basketball, cycling etc.

  • How long do I get access to the course?

Access to the course is for the "lifetime" of the course. Meaning, so long as we are offering this course, you will have access to it and any updates that we make to it.

  • Can I share my course access with another parent?

No. We regularly monitor who is logging in and if the course is being used by multiple users. If you have a group of 8 or more parents from a team who would like to purchase the course, please contact us for an additional team discount!
