Kristen Ernst, RD

Kristen is a Registered Dietitian with more than 18 years of experience. She holds a BSc in Human Nutrition and a BSc in Human Kinetics from St. Francis Xavier University.

A lifelong athlete, Kristen has participated in a variety of sports and developed a particular love for long-distance running. She has completed numerous marathons and half-marathons and hopes to keep lining up at start lines for many years to come.

Through her own endurance training, Kristen learned firsthand that sports nutrition lessons come quickly when you’re running for hours at a time. She experienced how powerful the right fuelling plan can be—not only for performance, but also for enjoyment of sport. Today, she loves helping athletes discover that same confidence in their fuelling.

Kristen is passionate about tailoring sport nutrition strategies to the unique needs of each athlete, helping take the guesswork out of what and how to fuel. She believes that building strong fuelling habits should feel practical, empowering, and even fun—having a few laughs and sharing a smile along the way is always part of the process.

One of Kristen’s favourite topics is tournament nutrition. Tournaments provide a unique opportunity to practice fuelling strategies in real time, highlighting the importance of consistency and preparation. Kristen often describes them as the best “on-the-job training” athletes will get for building habits that support performance all season long.
